This excursion, although only a few kilometers long, contains all the beauties of the volcano in a 5km route (round trip). The meeting with the qualified guide is scheduled in Piano Provenzana at 10:00. In this location full of large car parks, you can arrive with your car easily. The guide will provide all the details about the route and will recommend the most suitable equipment to tackle it. The path begins on the flows of the great eruption of 2002 and allows you to see the remains of the hotel buried by the flow itself, after which you go up, through woods and craters until you reach the imposing fracture of 2002 and its explosive craters.
